Dev log, blood effects, and collision improvement!


The game is getting closer and closer to being finished by the day! Here's what's happened in the past few days:

The first Devlog is finished!


I created a particle system in scratch that I am uncreatively naming "Scratch Particle System" which will be released to the public once I work out the bugs.

You should know by now that I'm not good with names. I mean, the game is literally called "Platformer Shooter Thing". That was supposed to be a placeholder. I couldn't think of anything better, so this is what it's called.

Anyways, using this system, I created a blood splatter effect that should make the game look a bit better. 


Next, I fixed a glitch where if you jump on the platform twice and hit the ceiling you glitch inside the platform. 

I also improved general platform collision, however, it's still very buggy. Better than it was before though!
